About the role

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for hospitals, healthcare cafeterias, retail operations, and senior living facilities, driving revenue growth in these specialized markets.
  • Identify, prospect, and close new business while expanding payment services within existing accounts.
  • Lead enterprise-level sales cycles, including hospital procurement, IT, finance, compliance, and executive stakeholders.
  • Capitalize on a large existing account base by selling back-to-base payment opportunities and expanding payment adoption within retail and cafeteria operations.
  • Pursue and close hospital-wide payment processing conversions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, understanding customer challenges and recommending tailored payment solutions.
  • Prepare proposals, presentations, ROI analyses, and value-based solution recommendations.
  • Manage a robust sales pipeline, forecasting reliably and achieving annual revenue targets of $1M+.
  • Represent Common CENTS™ at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, with a strong background in payment processing, merchant services, or integrated payments (required).
  • Experience selling POS, hospitality systems, or healthcare technology solutions strongly preferred.
  • Track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals.
  • Experience selling into hospitals, large healthcare systems, or senior living organizations is highly desirable.
  • Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage long sales cycles (6–18 months) while driving consistent pipeline activity.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client engagements and events.
  • Familiarity with PCI compliance, interchange, or payment security standards is a plus.
