About the role
- Develop and implement strategic engagement plans with KOLs, surgeons, and medical societies
- Act as a scientific authority in cardiac electrophysiology
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for scientific input and insights
- Communicate complex scientific information effectively to healthcare professionals
- Stay updated on scientific research and emerging trends
- Lead preparation of presentation materials for scientific events
- Support clinical studies and research initiatives by providing expertise
- Provide training and education to internal teams about cardiology platforms
- Organize and analyze customer and scientific market information
- Discuss Investigator Initiated and Collaborative study concepts
Requirements
- Doctoral Degree (PhD, MD, DO etc.) required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in biotech/medtech industry
- Previous experience in cardiovascular medicine highly desired
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Medical Affairs/Clinical Sciences/Medical Science liaison preferred
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular medicine, ideally electrophysiology preferred
- Insights within interventional cardiology and/or electrophysiology strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of clinical research methodologies, regulatory guidelines, and medical terminology
- Proven ability to establish and maintain relationships with KOLs and healthcare professionals
- Ability to analyze and interpret scientific data quickly and accurately
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Highly self-motivated, independent, and adaptable to changing priorities and environments
- Must have work authorization in the USA
- Excellent computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 60% domestic
