About the role

  • Develop and implement strategic engagement plans with KOLs, surgeons, and medical societies
  • Act as a scientific authority in cardiac electrophysiology
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for scientific input and insights
  • Communicate complex scientific information effectively to healthcare professionals
  • Stay updated on scientific research and emerging trends
  • Lead preparation of presentation materials for scientific events
  • Support clinical studies and research initiatives by providing expertise
  • Provide training and education to internal teams about cardiology platforms
  • Organize and analyze customer and scientific market information
  • Discuss Investigator Initiated and Collaborative study concepts

Requirements

  • Doctoral Degree (PhD, MD, DO etc.) required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in biotech/medtech industry
  • Previous experience in cardiovascular medicine highly desired
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Medical Affairs/Clinical Sciences/Medical Science liaison preferred
  • Strong knowledge of cardiovascular medicine, ideally electrophysiology preferred
  • Insights within interventional cardiology and/or electrophysiology strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of clinical research methodologies, regulatory guidelines, and medical terminology
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain relationships with KOLs and healthcare professionals
  • Ability to analyze and interpret scientific data quickly and accurately
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Highly self-motivated, independent, and adaptable to changing priorities and environments
  • Must have work authorization in the USA
  • Excellent computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 60% domestic
