- Serve as a key figure in the Neurovascular education and training sector, with a primary focus on internal sales training and competency development for the field organization.
- This individual holds the responsibility for crafting the sales training strategy and overseeing the implementation of learning curricula across the North America franchise, in alignment with both global strategy and regional business needs.
- In this role, collaboration with Sales Leadership, Commercial Marketing, Healthcare Compliance, and other functional partners is essential to shape and deliver educational programs.
- These programs aim to enhance the sales competency of the field organization, ensuring alignment with company policies and strategies.
- The objective is to implement programs that are not only highly effective but also highly efficient, while maintaining adherence to global standards.
- As a valuable member of the US Commercial Education Leadership Team, this person is expected to contribute insights into decisions and provide support for Global Education initiatives.
- The Sr. Manager of Commercial Education is responsible for delivering sales curriculums designed for internal education and training.
- Operating under limited supervision and in strict adherence to applicable company guidelines on Regulatory, Health, Safety, and Environmental practices, this role utilizes a globally designed approach tailored to meet regional needs.
- The Sr. Manager, Commercial Education oversees that all training and education initiatives are conducted using adult learning methods and approaches.
- Curriculums encompass a variety of formats, including instructor-led programs, self-study, virtual classroom environments, and remote experiences for initial content delivery and ongoing education, all aligned with the global blended learning model.
- This role facilitates the learning of sales tools, resources, selling systems, products, competitive technologies, and business practices pertinent to commercial sales roles.
- Empowering the organization to provide diverse learning pathways, curricula, and modules, the Sr. Manager, Commercial Education ensures that content and associated curriculums remain relevant to US business needs, incorporating new and applicable technologies/products.
- Collaborating with Field Sales Trainers, the Sr. Manager, Commercial Education develops curriculum and coordinates activities to support continuous learning.
- The Sr. Manager, Commercial Education is accountable for achieving program objectives through the adoption and implementation of the Commercial Education metrics strategy.
- Managing the budget for programs and projects, this role effectively plans and projects for future program growth, substantiating any financial needs for organizational support.
- Depending on the specific case, the Sr. Manager, Commercial Education may have oversight and development responsibilities for direct reports within the Commercial Education function.
- Actively participating in development activities to enhance competencies aligned with the Learning Professional Competency Model, the Sr. Manager ensures that all learning content is current, copy-approved, and compliant with government and legal requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience with relevant business experience
- Proven track record managing close customer relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal presentation skills, along with the ability to develop effective working relationships.
- Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to influence small and large groups.
- Advanced degree preferred.
- Experience within the Neurovascular space.
- Exceptional leadership skills.
- Proven organizational and management skills.
- Prior experience developing/delivering sales training programs.
- Prior experience launching new products.
- Ability to effectively break down complex concepts.
- Advanced technical skills utilizing Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
