About the role
- Be responsible for leading the execution of the US Commercial learning strategy for Electrophysiology.
- Overseeing the delivery of all associated new hire training programs for the United States sales organization.
- The scope of responsibility will be new hires, tenured specialists/territory managers, sales managers and Electrophysiology in-house cross functional departments.
- The Director will partner with senior Electrophysiology US leadership to align priorities and deliverables, ensuring a high degree of content & execution consistency.
- The Director will also help shape global strategy and participate on Electrophysiology Leadership and Global Commercial Education Governance teams.
- Partners with senior US leadership including Marketing, Sales, Global Education and new technology teams to understand business/marketing objectives.
- Directs all US content development for Electrophysiology training, including Therapy Advancements, ASC, and launches (Launch Excellence) and ensures team seamlessly hands off content to US field sales organization.
- Oversees the execution of all United States learning continuums for Electrophysiology.
- Lead US Training teams to execute the training strategy aligned to the JJMD learning model and programs.
- Contribute to the global strategy to build a learner centric experience.
- Collaborate with members of the US Electrophysiology leadership team to improve effectiveness and efficiency of the organization through upskilling.
- Recruit, on-board, and continuously develop all team members.
- Works with procurement, legal, and other Johnson & Johnson departments on vendor selection, contract negotiations and statements of works to ensure adherence to company policies and that direct/outsourced projects meet Johnson & Johnson’s agreed upon expectations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Minimum of 10 years with history of success in healthcare functions (Sales, Instructional Design, Training facilitation, Marketing/other Commercial Functions).
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in demonstrated clinical strength within the electrophysiology space.
- Minimum of 3 years successfully managing a team of employees.
- Strong influence management and communications skills.
- Proven ability to understand business strategy; successfully translate/execute into training that supports the company’s business goals.
- Ability to develop and lead a team across a matrix organization.
- Ensure metrics collaboration to measure effectiveness of training to improve sales performance.
