About the role
- Improve knowledge and skill set related to cataract device sales
- Work closely with Senior or Principal Account Executive
- Call on all Ophthalmologists and staff within a region
- Provide technical product knowledge and in-service support
- Comply with required reports and requests
- Manage a budget for travel and expenses
- Demonstrate a consultative/value-based sales approach to selling
- Prepare and provide detailed sales/procedural/financial presentations to customers
Requirements
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
- One to three years of any sales experience or three to five years med tech professional experience
- A valid driver's license in one of the 50 United States
- The ability to work as part of sales team and support company goals and sales objectives
- The ability to travel (up to 75%) which may include overnight/weekend travel is required
- Surgical O.R. or ophthalmic industry experience is a plus
