About the role

  • Improve knowledge and skill set related to cataract device sales
  • Work closely with Senior or Principal Account Executive
  • Call on all Ophthalmologists and staff within a region
  • Provide technical product knowledge and in-service support
  • Comply with required reports and requests
  • Manage a budget for travel and expenses
  • Demonstrate a consultative/value-based sales approach to selling
  • Prepare and provide detailed sales/procedural/financial presentations to customers

Requirements

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
  • One to three years of any sales experience or three to five years med tech professional experience
  • A valid driver's license in one of the 50 United States
  • The ability to work as part of sales team and support company goals and sales objectives
  • The ability to travel (up to 75%) which may include overnight/weekend travel is required
  • Surgical O.R. or ophthalmic industry experience is a plus
