About the role
- Responsible for the management of global External Manufacturers in support of > $25MM revenue for Electrophysiology (EP)
- Implement critical initiatives for products produced at External Manufacturers
- Plan and direct the organization’s activities and deliver against targets for service, quality/compliance, and financial performance
- Deploy end-to-end supply strategies, handle relationships with External Manufacturers and maintain key partnerships within the business
- Lead a small team
- Deliver on quality, service, reliability, financial, and growth commitments from External Manufacturers
- Implement supplier performance management
- Develop and lead regular performance reviews
- Partner in the development and drive the External Manufacturing vision with the organization
Requirements
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum eight (8) years of relevant professional work experience
- Experience working in/supporting Manufacturing Operations
- Strong analytical/technical proficiency & competence
- Project management skills
- Strong leadership, communication, influencing and collaboration skills
- Experience in a GMP environment (preferred)
- Track record in Talent Development (preferred)
- Experience in multiple areas of supply chain including managing third-party manufacturers (preferred)
- Experience with Six Sigma/Process Excellence tools (preferred)
