About the role
- Identify, qualify, and cultivate new sales opportunities in Joint Reconstruction & robotics
- Establish contacts with key opinion leaders, surgeons, nurses, operating management, pharmacists, purchase departments and other stakeholders
- Take full ownership of your territory and assigned hospital accounts
- Actively assess, clarify and validate customer needs to acquire new business
- Shape the market in the context of tenders or robotic deals in close collaboration with customers
- Establish productive, professional relationships with key customers and provide compliant technical assistance in the Operating Room
- Maintain detailed knowledge of our portfolio, competitive products and understanding of the J&J offering
Requirements
- Degree in (para)medical field, economics, management or equal by experience
- At least 2 years of professional experience, ideally within one of the following fields: Health Care / Orthopaedics / Medical Device Sales
- Commercial mindset & drive, born to win
- Passionate about orthopaedic medical devices / technology & new innovation in this field
- Excellent verbal and written skills in Dutch; good use of English
- Strong communication, listening, influencing and relationship-building skills
- Ability to translate clinical product benefits into economic value to health care providers
- Strong team player with a positive can-do attitude, challenging the status quo
- Business / strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Eager to learn and develop. Growth mindset with a highly ethical attitude
- Experience working in a matrix / corporate environment
- Living in the area of West-Vlaanderen (preferred) or Oost-Vlaanderen
- Valid driving license
