About the role

  • Identify, qualify, and cultivate new sales opportunities in Joint Reconstruction & robotics
  • Establish contacts with key opinion leaders, surgeons, nurses, operating management, pharmacists, purchase departments and other stakeholders
  • Take full ownership of your territory and assigned hospital accounts
  • Actively assess, clarify and validate customer needs to acquire new business
  • Shape the market in the context of tenders or robotic deals in close collaboration with customers
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key customers and provide compliant technical assistance in the Operating Room
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of our portfolio, competitive products and understanding of the J&J offering

Requirements

  • Degree in (para)medical field, economics, management or equal by experience
  • At least 2 years of professional experience, ideally within one of the following fields: Health Care / Orthopaedics / Medical Device Sales
  • Commercial mindset & drive, born to win
  • Passionate about orthopaedic medical devices / technology & new innovation in this field
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in Dutch; good use of English
  • Strong communication, listening, influencing and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to translate clinical product benefits into economic value to health care providers
  • Strong team player with a positive can-do attitude, challenging the status quo
  • Business / strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Eager to learn and develop. Growth mindset with a highly ethical attitude
  • Experience working in a matrix / corporate environment
  • Living in the area of West-Vlaanderen (preferred) or Oost-Vlaanderen
  • Valid driving license
