About the role
- Lead and manage a portfolio of strategic projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocations to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Develop digitally enabled validation module for Johnson & Johnson MedTech.
- Ensure the speed and efficiency of the Agile/Scrum process in collaboration with the Product Owner, the Business Analyst and the Scrum Master.
- Clearly articulate business needs and translate them into detailed requirements for the development team.
- Offer operational supervision and assistance to uphold the efficiency and effectiveness of processes throughout the organization.
- Recognize areas for enhancement and implement standard methodologies to improve productivity and quality.
- Foster a culture of creativity and identify new opportunities to drive innovation within the organization.
- Implement brand new solutions to continuously improve operational performance.
- Lead and mentor a team of project managers and support staff, fostering a collaborative and hard-working work environment.
- Work closely with senior leaders, department heads, and external partners to align projects with strategic priorities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with proven experience in Business, Engineering, or a related field required;
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the medical devices industry.
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex, multi-functional projects with a focus on innovation and operational excellence.
- Strong knowledge of the medical devices industry, including regulatory requirements and industry trends.
- Validation experience across equipment, process, and systems.
- Change Management experience with sector-level initiatives.
- Experience with GxP systems and implementation.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and collaborator management skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Preferred: Experience with budget management and financial oversight.
- Experience with Computerized Systems Validation (CSV), SDLC, Agile/Scrum processes preferred.
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Advanced proficiency in project management software tools.
- Experience working in a global or multinational organization.
- Established track record of accomplishing critical initiatives.
- PMP or other relevant project management certification is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in English is required.
- Occasional travel may be required, both national and international.
