About the role
- Manage a business of 10-15 people and sales revenue of over $150 million
- Lead the Western USA team for Intrusion product lines
- Develop and implement sales strategy to align with business objectives and achieve revenue goals
- Implement changes in sales strategy to executive leadership and advise on market considerations
- Develop new channel opportunities, marketing campaigns creating demand and lead generation
- Develop KPIs and metrics to ensure desired results
- Oversee all aspects of sales and develop measurements for analysis, trending and forecasting
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
- Cultivate a high-performing team and culture to achieve company goals and consistent results
- Develop and deliver sales training programs for onboarding and development
- Plan and direct sales force activities to maximize profit across market segments
- Keep team current with technology trends including Cybersecurity, Cloud-based solutions and sales methodologies
- Collaborate with R&D, Product Management and Operations to align market strategy
Requirements
- 10+ years of sales management and business experience
- Minimum Bachelor's degree
- Experience leading a sales organization
- High level of business acumen; ability to negotiate with C-Level executives on multi-million-dollar national RFPs
- Success managing regions and geographically distributed districts
- Enterprise software and solution selling experience
- Ability to communicate technical details and demonstrate solution fit to customer needs
- Preferably direct knowledge of selling cloud-based Software as a Service security solutions
- Track record of developing and implementing sales strategies that meet or exceed objectives
- Strong leadership and management skills; success building and leading results-driven sales teams
- Initial travel 50-75%
