About the role

  • Technical Supervision of the Project site ensuring activities are performed safely, within budget and on time
  • Liaison with various stakeholders
  • Study Technical Contracts and raise queries for observations
  • Preparation of Erection and Commissioning schedule
  • Preparation of Mechanical Erection Manual
  • Collection of all documents required for site execution
  • Open Package Inspection at site and feedback on short supplies and material requirements
  • Start Mechanical Erection as per schedule
  • See completion of equipment erection and commissioning and prepare Protocol
  • Report discrepancies in erection or commissioning
  • Give site feedback for improvement
  • Coordinate with sub-contractors/third parties for timely execution
  • Completion of PAT and FAT and site closure as per contractual obligation

Requirements

  • Engineering background with Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Production Engineering
  • More than 10-15 years of experience in Steel Industry
  • Knowledge of Measuring Tools used at Erection Sites
  • Knowledge of Auto Cad, Navisworks and MSP is must
  • Must be able to prepare various reports in MS Office
  • Strong Analytical and Presentation Skill
  • Added advantage for exposure in Utilities commissioning including Hydraulics System
