Structural Engineer

Engineer

• Performing piping flexibility and stress calculations using Intergraph CAESAR II software in compliance with applicable codes and standards
• Carrying out various engineering calculations related to the design and technical development of boilers and industrial systems, mainly in the fields of mechanics, thermodynamics and fluid mechanics
• Analyzing loads, stresses, and boundary conditions, and proposing technical solutions to ensure mechanical integrity and reliability
• Supporting engineering studies from basic design to detailed engineering, including review of technical documentation and calculation notes
• Collaborating with piping, mechanical, process and project teams to ensure consistency between calculations, design choices and project constraints
• Providing technical support during project execution, manufacturing, installation and commissioning phases when required

Calculation Board and Piping Stress Engineer

Controller

• Prepare project budgets to completion
• Monitor project costs
• Analyze variances between actual results and budgeted amounts
• Participate in monthly accounting/financial closings
• Prepare monthly project-level reporting

Project Controller

Designer

• Plan and deliver processing line layout (continuous galvanizing, continuous annealing, continuous colour coating, cold rolling mill)
• Development of line layout with integration of equipments, systems, bought outs etc with constraints of building dimensions and column locations
• Development of basic civil layout of line as per project requirement
• Meeting the targets around Quality, Delivery and Cost
• Understand the contract requirements, Line philosophy, preliminary approved line layout by the Customer
• Work with Team Lead Engineer to select the correct GA of equipments and integrate the same with line layout
• Line layout should ensure proper location of equipments in various levels, space for maintenance and accessibility
• Preparation of basic civil layout, excavation drawings, load data & foundation boult schedule
• Based on Customer inputs, update the line layout & civil layout with required changes
• Create and check engineering related documents as per the Quality Management System (QMS) and Design Approval Matrix
• Keep themselves abreast of the new technologies and imbibe the same in line layout creation.

Deputy Manager – Layout Design

Software Engineer

• Work as part of the engineering team in execution of industrial projects in the field of industrial furnaces for the steel industry
• Provide technical support and problem resolution as needed
• Review contract specifications, develop project plan from engineering through installation that is in compliance with the required standards, including developing timelines, budget and design reviews
• Creation of process flow and process and instrumentation diagrams
• Sizing of relevant fluid process equipment and creation of technical specification
• Participate in risk analyses (FMEA, HAZOP etc.)
• Coordinate with the purchasing department to order materials for all parts and components needed to complete a project
• Validate technical choices
• Request quotes and manage vendors to ensure fair market prices and quality control for all work that is outsourced
• Generate operational philosophy descriptions, perform startup and shutdown analysis and generate performance test protocols
• Facilitate cross-departmental design review meetings to ensure feedback on designs from all departments
• May perform field management assessments, audits and customer service
• Work with the Sales team to identify customer requirements regarding process control equipment, calculations and assist in preparing proposals
