About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Designing structural components for products
- Performing civil engineering and/or steel structure sizing
- Preparing calculation notes and technical specifications
- Reviewing and validating civil works, anchoring, steel structures, and ducting plans
- Support technical proposals, project execution, and innovative solutions development
- Design and optimize civil works and steel structures within budget and schedule
- Prepare technical documentation in compliance with local regulations, codes, and client specifications
- Analyze and apply client technical requirements
- Participate in design reviews and implement action plans
- Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring technical compliance
- Resolve technical issues during project execution
- Contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Technical skills
- Engineering degree or equivalent experience
- Strong interest in steel structures and in a versatile role involving structural sizing calculations
- Expertise in steel structure sizing calculations
- Proficiency in SCIA Engineer, IDEAstatica, and excellent command of Excel
- Fluent in English; French is an asset
- Willingness to travel occasionally (Europe and worldwide)
- Cultural adaptability
- Ability to manage pressure and deadlines with patience
