Controller

• Proactively plan and execute the daily and future schedule to achieve established performance goals
• Make aircraft swaps for operational integrity and scheduled/planned maintenance purposes as needed
• Ensure optimal routing of aircraft for operational/performance restrictions
• Anticipate where disruptions may occur and work to reduce or eliminate delays imposed on JetBlue flights
• Develop a recovery strategy in collaboration with internal & external stakeholders as part of an overall tactical system operating plan
• Communicate significant irregularities to operational teams’ system wide
• Build and manage Flight Disruptions and Tarmac Delays utilizing technology applications including TOPS and dashboards
• Coordinate with Crew Services to address crew legality constraints
• Take ownership of and lead POD decision making for the daily operation, FIT, and IROP PODs
• Assist with Business Continuity & Emergency Response duties in support of the airline

Controller System

People Operations

• Administer and maintain People systems, including SAP, SuccessFactors, and integrated HR technologies.
• Partner with IT and external vendors to manage system configurations, permissions, workflows, and updates.
• Troubleshoot system issues and defects with urgency, accuracy, and clear communication to stakeholders.
• Conduct regular access reviews and system audits to maintain security, compliance, and data integrity.
• Assist with data analysis, HR reporting needs, and system performance monitoring.
• Participate in People systems projects, including requirements gathering, configuration, documentation, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and rollout.
• Conduct UAT for enhancements, releases, and integrations, including test script creation, tester management, scenario assignment, and real-time support.
• Evaluate and recommend system enhancements, automation opportunities, and process improvements.
• Stay current on SAP, SuccessFactors, and HR technology releases, identifying relevant features and updates beneficial to the business.
• Collaborate with People Centers of Expertise (COEs), IT, Legal, Compliance, and business partners to ensure systems support operational and strategic needs.
• Develop training materials, job aids, and system documentation; facilitate user training where needed.
• Support AI and automation initiatives and explore tools and solutions to improve operational efficiency.
• Support recurring and ad-hoc reporting needs, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of People data for business stakeholders.

Analyst, People Systems

Operations

• Operate ground service equipment which includes motor vehicles, tugs, and elevated de-icing equipment
• Services aircraft by operating ground service equipment (Potable water truck, ground power unit, tug, aircraft pushback, lavatory truck, deicing truck, etc.)
• Works in a ramp environment
• Tags, lifts, loads and unloads customer bags (in excess of 100 lbs) from baggage compartment of aircraft and baggage system
• Operates external aircraft equipment
• Helps prepare cabin for customer boarding and departure, which can include cleaning of seats, seat pockets, floor, galleys and lavatories
• Assist customers with special needs, e.g. customers who need assistance in boarding
• Guides aircraft to and from aircraft parking locations
• Carry a handheld radio and communicate effectively with proper radio etiquette
• Occasionally assist with loading and unloading mail, small packages and human remains
• Ensure and maintain a safe environment and operation
