About the role

  • Assist clients and business analysts with deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of ERP software and POS infrastructure
  • Perform POS configuration tasks during implementation projects
  • Manage and resolve client issues from reporting through to timely resolution
  • Test software, provide feedback, and perform related project tasks
  • Analyze behavior in live environments and recommend improvements to the development team
  • Maintain and update procedure and configuration documentation

Requirements

  • DEC or post-secondary diploma in computer science or a related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years as a Technical Analyst, Systems Analyst, or equivalent role
  • Proven track record supporting POS systems in a retail environment
  • Strong familiarity with POS hardware, including cash registers, scanners, and printers
  • Proficient in SQL (Oracle SQL/PL-SQL) and VB.NET for reporting and simple customizations
  • Ability to write test cases and clearly document defects
  • Basic understanding of LAN/WAN connectivity and firewall rules
  • Strong communication (written and oral) and leadership skills
  • Able to work independently
