Collections

• Serve as a working manager for the Collections team, actively supporting day-to-day collection activities while leading the overall receivables portfolio across regions and business units.
• Partner closely with Collectors to prioritize accounts, manage escalations, and directly assist with high-risk or complex clients to drive resolution and timely payment.
• Cover portions of Collectors’ portfolios as needed to ensure consistent client follow-up and minimize delays in cash collections.
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders including project analysts, clients, and legal counsel to resolve client disputes.
• Manage escalations and ensure compliance with company policy, client agreements, and relevant regulations.
• Identify and lead continuous improvement and automation initiatives (e.g., ERP or process enhancements) to increase efficiency and transparency.
• Provide coaching, training and performance feedback to Collectors, fostering a collaborative and accountable team environment.
• Ensure alignment with Jensen Hughes’ values, particularly when dealing with clients and internal stakeholders.

Collections Manager

Controller

• Oversee the Corporate Accounting Team of approx. 3 managers and 9 staff/seniors
• Manage a smooth and timely month-end and year-end close process
• Conduct variance analysis between actuals, forecasts, and budgets, providing insights to support decision-making
• Review monthly financial statements prepared in accordance with GAAP
• Drive accurate financial reporting in conjunction with review of balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger transactions
• Assist in managing the annual consolidated audit and assist with international statutory audits
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
• Ensure compliance with international regulations and tax laws
• Monitor cash flow and forecasting activities, while supporting treasury initiatives
• Perform technical accounting activities related to M&A and purchase accounting
• Contribute to M&A diligence reviews and financial integrations
• Assist in intercompany transaction recording and proper elimination at a consolidated level
• Work closely with Accounts Payable, Cash Applications, Project Finance, FP&A, and Payroll functions
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, recommend solutions, and support implementation while ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Maintain compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.

Assistant Controller

Accountant

• Ensure the accuracy, transparency, and timeliness of financial reporting, including journal entry preparation and supporting year-end audits and tax filings
• Contribute to a smooth and timely month-end and year-end close process
• Prepare and reconcile intercompany account balances
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies proactively and timely
• Prepare cash reconciliations for both U.S. and international accounts and address reconciling items
• Conduct variance analysis between actuals, forecasts, and budgets to provide insights for decision-making
• Participate in annual consolidated audits and assist with international statutory audits and tax filings
• Prepare and file tax-related forms (e.g., personal property tax returns)
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, recommend solutions, and support implementation while ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Maintain compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
• Research technical accounting matters and draft internal memos to support business needs
• Collaborate closely with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Project Accounting teams to ensure alignment with accounting policies and financial reporting

Senior Accountant

Bookkeeper

• Review and input employee master data into ADP and Deltek Costpoint, ensuring compliance with company policy as well as local, state and federal regulations
• Maintain and update payroll records, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
• Address basic payroll-related inquiries from employees and escalate complex issues as needed
• Support the onboarding process by ensuring new hire payroll data is entered correctly
• Work with ADP and an ERP system to manage payroll data and generate reports as needed
• Leverage Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook) for data management and communication
• Ensure payroll processes align with company policies and government regulations
• Assist with preparing and distributing payroll reports for management and auditing purposes
