About the role
- Maintain and oversee commercial product lines
- Receive high volume of incoming telephone calls and emails
- Process and maintain customer orders
- Maximize margin on sales
- Provide price quotes and quote follow-up
- Provide high level of customer service in answering customer inquiries and solving customer challenges
- Use selling skills to convert sales inquiries to orders
- Regularly read trade publications and attend product knowledge (PK) seminars to stay current on industry trends and new product offerings in the Door and Hardware Market
Requirements
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent work habits
- Positive outgoing attitude
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, goal oriented
- Ability to work with others in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Ability to promote and maintain a TEAM atmosphere
- 2-5 years of commercial door and hardware product knowledge (preferred)
- Sales and customer service experience (preferred)
