About the role
- Support the account management team in maintaining key agency relationships, ensuring an outstanding level of service and responsiveness.
- Act as a professional point of contact for client teams via email, calls, and in-person meetings.
- Assist in the definition and implementation of digital strategies and long-term roadmaps for clients.
- Work closely with Project Managers and delivery teams to ensure client requirements are briefed accurately and work is delivered on time and to a high standard.
- Manage essential account administration, including agenda writing, detailed note-taking, and internal coordination to ensure seamless account workflows.
- Represent the agency at industry events and networking opportunities to strengthen the brand’s presence.
- Proactively identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing & new accounts to support year-on-year growth.
- Support the New Business team in the scoping and writing of persuasive proposals, Statements of Work, and pitch decks.
- Take an active role in pitch preparations and presentations, helping to articulate the agency’s value proposition to both existing and prospective clients.
- Provide occasional support for new business opportunities and tendering efforts as required by the senior team.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a digital account or client-facing role, ideally within a digital or creative agency.
- A strong understanding of and enthusiasm for website design, development, and CMS platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex solutions in clear, plain English.
- A self-starter who is comfortable taking responsibility for tasks and proactively solving challenges.
- Highly organised with an aptitude for critical thinking and the ability to juggle multiple tasks under pressure.
- A strong academic track record demonstrating commitment and analytical ability.
- Experience working with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, or Umbraco) is nice to have.
- Familiarity with agency tools such as CRMs and project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, etc) is nice to have.
- Proven experience working seamlessly within a cross-functional team of digital experts is nice to have.
