About the role
- Support project managers plan, organize, and execute projects effectively by providing critical data support
- Conduct data gathering, analysis, and reporting to support timely program and project decision-making
- Collect Key Performance Indicators (i.e. budget, schedule, resources) and verify/analyze project data
- Build and maintain dashboards (Excel, Power BI, etc.) and create/manage project reports/documentation
- Track project budgets and perform financial forecasting; track, forecast, and report project progress
- Maintain risk and opportunity register, prepare risk heat maps, and identify process improvement opportunities
- Ensure projects comply with contractual and PMO governance requirements; provide project evaluation and monitoring
- Provide program and portfolio support and roll up project-level data into a portfolio-level view
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in management or technical discipline is required
- U.S. Citizenship is required
- Ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance
- Prior work experience as a data analyst, project manager, or a business analyst
- Knowledge of and experience with O365 applications, Power BI, MS Project, and dashboard reporting
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate timely information
- Understanding of cross-functional team structure and processes
- Top-notch communication and time management skills
- Excellent critical thinking skills; ability to evaluate problems and recommend solutions
- Adaptability to assist the team wherever needed to achieve program/project goals
- Prior military experience is preferred
