Assistant

• Fabricating, assembling, and welding steel components according to blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Operating forklift to transfer materials and finished products throughout the shop and yard.
• Assist with loading and unloading raw materials, ensuring material is accurately inventoried and ready for daily production.
• Use pneumatic and electrical power tools to complete assigned tasks such as deburring, grinding, polishing, finishing, cleaning, etc.
• Run and set up multiple machines including press brakes, saws, plasma table, drill press, or ironworker.
• Maintain all equipment in a good working order during daily operations.
• May occasionally operate sandblaster to clean parts before or after weldments are complete.
• Support the fabrication team by performing other duties as required.

Fabrication Assistant

General

• Efficiently operate assigned equipment, including all company owned specially equipment
• Train, mentor, and oversee Tier 1-3 operators in safe and elective equipment handling
• Load and transport materials and/or heavy equipment when necessary
• Perform daily inspections of equipment, identify any mechanical issues
• Lead by example in adhering to OSHA standards and site safety protocols
• Maintain comprehensive logs of equipment usage and maintenance schedules
• Conduct in-depth equipment inspections, complex troubleshooting, and on-site repairs
• Work closely with senior site supervision and project management to develop equipment deployment strategies

Heavy Equipment Operator

• Smooth and finish concrete surfaces using the appropriate tools
• Level and shape freshly poured concrete to ensure proper slope and surface quality
• Apply surface treatments to concrete as required by the project
• Monitor the curing process and apply treatments as necessary
• Repair damaged or worn concrete on existing structures
• Adhere to concrete requirements as detailed in the contract documents
• Operate finishing equipment
• Communicate with site supervision to ensure smooth workflow and timely project completion
• Follow all safety guidelines and regulations
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring equipment and tools are properly maintained and stored
• Report any issues with concrete quality, equipment, or safety concerns to site supervision

Cement Finisher

• Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and assisting with site logistics setup
• Load and unload construction materials and move them to the appropriate staging areas
• Operate small and medium sized tools
• Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and safe, following all safety guidelines and regulations
• Assist equipment operators with guiding materials as requested
• Perform basic maintenance on small and medium sized tools and equipment used on-site
• Assist in setting up and dismantling scaffolding, forms, and/or barricades
• Report any site hazards or equipment issues to site supervision

General Labor

• Safely operate company trucks to transport construction materials
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of assigned vehicles
• Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety standards
