About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and assisting with site logistics setup
Load and unload construction materials and move them to the appropriate staging areas
Operate small and medium sized tools
Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and safe, following all safety guidelines and regulations
Assist equipment operators with guiding materials as requested
Perform basic maintenance on small and medium sized tools and equipment used on-site
Assist in setting up and dismantling scaffolding, forms, and/or barricades
Report any site hazards or equipment issues to site supervision

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience as a laborer or in construction preferred but not required
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including heavy lifting and long periods of standing or kneeling
Familiarity with construction tools and equipment
Willingness to learn new skills and follow safety protocols
Basic understanding of construction plans and drawings is a bonus
Good communication skills and ability to follow directions
Valid driver’s license may be required
