About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Efficiently operate assigned equipment, including all company owned specially equipment
Train, mentor, and oversee Tier 1-3 operators in safe and elective equipment handling
Load and transport materials and/or heavy equipment when necessary
Perform daily inspections of equipment, identify any mechanical issues
Lead by example in adhering to OSHA standards and site safety protocols
Maintain comprehensive logs of equipment usage and maintenance schedules
Conduct in-depth equipment inspections, complex troubleshooting, and on-site repairs
Work closely with senior site supervision and project management to develop equipment deployment strategies

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 4 years of experience operating heavy construction equipment
Valid and specialized operator certifications for heavy-duty equipment, including large cranes, pavers, and specialized excavation machinery
OSHA certification is required
Proficiency in operating a broad range of advanced construction machinery; expertise in fine grading and large-scale excavation
