About the role
- Part-time, contractor role reporting to Director of People; fully remote; hours 5-25 per week depending on hiring needs
- Manage the full recruitment cycle by partnering with hiring managers to understand recruiting and retention goals
- Be the owner of our applicant tracking system, Greenhouse, and contribute to building processes, infrastructure, and improvements
- Provide excellent communication and speed through the pipeline to give candidates the best possible experience
- Post jobs on appropriate job boards such as LinkedIn, Indeed, university career pages, and DEI websites
- Conduct trainings, such as interviewing or anti-bias training, to team members as needed
- Use data and insights to make recommendations on how to make better hiring decisions
Requirements
- 3+ years of recruiting experience ideally within a high-growth start-up
- Strong sense of urgency, prioritization, and excellent time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in recruiting software, job boards, resume databases, and LinkedIn
- Experience with sourcing passive talent, with a resourceful and creative approach
- Positive customer service attitude with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with our applicant tracking system, Greenhouse
- Knowledge of recruiting laws and best practices
