About the role
- Generate growth around TrueNAS' full portfolio of hybrid and all flash unified storage arrays.
- Effectively communicate and present the TrueNAS company vision, value proposition, and go-to-market strategy in all communication forms.
- Handle a complex and technical medium-term sales process from lead to quote to close to maintenance, support, and advocacy.
- Generate revenue by developing business and securing long-term customer relationships and referrals by demonstrating a steadfast commitment to providing an amazing customer experience by becoming your customers' Trusted Advisor.
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in B2B sales for both large and small organizations where brand recognition may not be strong
- 2+ years experience in Storage Sales and/or Datacenter Technologies preferred
- Experience using Salesforce a plus
- Background in Open Source Technologies a plus
- Familiarity with TrueNAS is a plus
- Comfortable being the "underdog" and not just leveraging a name brand to open doors
- Self-starter, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and multi-tasking
- Excellent communication, presentation, problem solving, planning, and time management skills
- Proven track record of handling complex solution sales and medium-long sales cycles
- Consistent track record of exceeding quota while maintaining customer loyalty and required product margins
- Must be able to prospect and self generate pipeline
- A positive, can-do, team-oriented attitude
- Ability to be both self-reliant and a team player
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
