About the role

  • Owning the Sage People HR system for Ireland, ensuring it is maintained, supported and enhanced to meet business needs
  • Designing and delivering system solutions across Core HR, Self‑Service, WFM, Pay Codes and other standard modules
  • Managing BAU activities such as annual salary reviews, minimum wage updates and configuration changes
  • Acting as the point of contact for Sage, overseeing change requests, SOW creation, release management and issue escalation
  • Supporting and maintaining integrations (e.g., Micropay, Active Directory), working closely with IT
  • Providing 2nd‑level technical/system support via Zendesk and ensuring queries are resolved effectively
  • Ensuring system processes meet compliance and audit requirements
  • Translating business, HR and payroll needs into system improvements, enhancements and configuration changes

Requirements

  • Strong experience configuring HR & WFM systems (Core HR, Absence/Timesheets, Benefits, Pay Elements, Reporting/Dashboards)
  • Hands‑on experience with inbound/outbound integrations, data handling and system reporting
  • Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications and deliver via a vendor
  • Experience with tools such as Jira and Zendesk
  • Knowledge of Irish HR/legislative requirements
