About the role
- Support core HR processes, including onboarding, offboarding, employee records management, and HR documentation.
- Assist with recruitment coordination, interview scheduling, candidate communications, and ATS updates.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data in HR systems and internal tools, ensuring close attention to detail and compliance.
- Support benefits administration, time-off tracking, and basic payroll coordination.
- Respond to employee inquiries related to HR policies, processes, and tools in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist in implementing and improving HR processes suitable for a scaling startup environment.
- Support performance management cycles, engagement initiatives, and internal communications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership on ad hoc HR projects as needed.
- Ensure confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive employee information.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in an HR, People Operations, or administrative role (internships included).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Tech-savvy, with experience using HR systems, ATS platforms, Google Workspace, and collaboration tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel experience.
- Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working with evolving processes.
- Strong desire to learn, grow, and take ownership in a startup setting.
