About the role

  • The Deal Desk Manager will help to accelerate deal cycles to close and maximize revenue by partnering with our GTM Organization in proposal building, pricing, quote generation and opportunity management in the effort to structure profitable and compliant transactions.
  • Guide Sales with deal structure and pricing guidance to optimize profitability, meet strategic organizational goals, and accelerate deal closures.
  • Provide proactive support, guidance and creative solutions to the GTM Organization to drive New, Upsell, and Renewal Business deals while being aware of relevant customer information.
  • In addition, you will add strategic value by addressing process inefficiencies and areas in need of enablement and working with multiple departments (Legal, Revenue Accounting, Finance, Services, etc.) on behalf of the GTM Organization to ensure that the GTM Team is being supported to the highest standard.
  • Ensure compliance with Ironclad’s pricing and discounting policies.
  • Identify potential training opportunities and coordinate with Sales Enablement to develop & communicate materials to all necessary departments.
  • Provide additional support to regional sales leaders as needed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Deal Desk / Sales Operations experience, preferably within a SaaS organization.
  • Ability to understand detailed pricing models and strategies.
  • Knowledge of how SaaS companies recognize revenue and ARR.
  • Strong CPQ systems knowledge.
  • High level of accountability; proven ability to take ownership and solve problems.
  • Ability to analyze and recommend the best approach for complex deal structuring situations.
  • Approve/Reject/Escalate proposals based on thorough analysis.
  • Ability to work in an ever-changing environment and work within tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work well with cross-functional teams (GTM, Legal, Finance, Revenue Accounting, Services) and build relationships with these teams.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), organizational, and analytical problem-solving skills as well as strong presentation skills.
  • Expertise in Salesforce and Excel required.
