About the role

  • Manage and develop a team of research professionals (onshore and offshore) responsible for leading and executing quantitative and qualitative healthcare market research studies.
  • Oversee feasibility assessments for complex studies, determining panel availability, identifying vendor needs, and ensuring accurate scoping, pricing, and timelines.
  • Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies for difficult‑to‑source physician and HCP audiences to ensure high‑quality data collection.
  • Partner with client‑facing Principals and other internal stakeholders by providing subject‑matter expertise during business development, feasibility estimation, creative solutioning, and risk assessment.
  • Collaborate closely with the panel management team to optimize panel utilization and develop recommendations that improve study recruitment and data delivery outcomes.
  • Source, manage, and evaluate external vendors; ensure contracts, compliance requirements, SLAs, and quality standards are met; lead the team’s adoption and use of Globality for vendor workflows.
  • Provide oversight on all active fielding, monitoring project progress, resolving escalations, and ensuring accurate and timely updates across project tracking systems.
  • Mentor and coach junior and mid‑level researchers, fostering a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and operational excellence.
  • Conduct ongoing analysis and evaluation of operational processes with the goal of increasing efficiency, speed, data quality, and scalability.
  • Maintain strong working partnerships with cross‑functional teams including Commercial, Strategy Consulting, Survey Programming, Panel Management, and Analytics.
  • Ensure all operations follow corporate standards, compliance requirements, and best practices in primary market research.
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging methodologies, and new technologies within healthcare primary research and field operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s preferred.
  • 7–10+ years of progressive experience in primary market research, with strong exposure to healthcare.
  • Demonstrated success leading research teams and delivering complex primary research studies.
  • Strong expertise in feasibility, sampling, recruitment strategy, and vendor management.
  • Ability to manage large project portfolios, prioritize effectively, and solve problems proactively.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non‑technical teams.
  • Experience with online survey platforms (e.g., Forsta, Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey); knowledge of Conformit or similar tools a plus.
  • Detail‑oriented, organized, and committed to quality and accuracy.
