About the role

  • Using remote access tools such as AnyDesk, monitor, access, and maintain over 60 computers and other remote devices.
  • Reset and ensure the wiping and security of remote systems, including the use of data-erasure tools, ensuring compliance with security standards and data protection regulations.
  • Keep process documentation clear and up to date.
  • Automate and manage the update process for operating systems and critical software, ensuring all devices are consistently updated and protected against vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and maintain standard images for operating systems and software configurations, automating deployment to new devices.
  • Provide remote technical support to resolve software, hardware, and network issues, ensuring smooth business operations.
  • Organize tickets submitted by the team and triage/categorize them as needed by ticket type or service status.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in IT management, with an emphasis on remote environments.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (SCCM), RDP, and AnyDesk.
  • Experience creating and maintaining operating system images (Windows, Linux, macOS).
  • Knowledge of security and data-erasure tools such as DBAN and Secure Erase.
  • Ability to manage and apply remote updates to critical systems and software.
  • Good understanding of security protocols such as VPNs, firewalls, antivirus, and encryption.
  • Ability to work independently and troubleshoot technical issues remotely with agility.
  • Preferred: Experience with cloud environments (Azure, AWS) and cloud management solutions.
