About the role
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on all HR-related matters
- Lead and manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, development, performance management, and offboarding
- Oversee and guide the recruiting function, supporting hiring efforts for leadership and hard-to-fill roles
- Partner with hiring managers to develop effective recruiting and workforce planning strategies
- Lead employee relations efforts, including investigations, conflict resolution, and performance management support
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook
- Administer compensation and benefits programs, including compensation benchmarking and open enrollment
- Oversee HR systems, reporting, and data accuracy
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and support company culture efforts
Requirements
- 3-5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a generalist or standalone HR role
- At least 3 years of experience across talent acquisition, employee relations, and benefits administration
- Experience managing or leading a small team
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) preferred
