About the role
- Provide best-in-class customer service to students and alumni across IonTuition lines of business
- Handle inbound and outbound customer calls (most outbound)
- Use telephones, email, chat and text to communicate with customers
- Provide clear verbal and written communications to assist customers with repayment of educational obligations
- Properly utilize CRM system for technical inquiries with follow-up for customer resolution
- Update records with current demographic and contact information and accurately notate all interactions
- Follow policies and procedures regarding escalations and adhere to federal and state laws
- Attain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and monthly performance goals
- Complete training (first two weeks Monday–Friday 8am–5pm CST)
Requirements
- High school or equivalent (Required)
- 1 year experience
- Access to reliable internet connection
- Be passionate in the work you do and the people you help
- Ability to establish and maintain rapport through effective communication and timely follow-up with customers
- Attention to detail
- Ability to establish priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment
- Must be a self-starter with a great degree of internal motivation
- Ability to operate and navigate various technical devices and systems
- Ability to trouble shoot common computer issues
- Experience handling inbound and outbound customer calls and using CRM systems
- Ability to use telephones, email, chat and text communication with customers
