About the role

  • Provide best-in-class customer service to students and alumni across IonTuition lines of business
  • Handle inbound and outbound customer calls (most outbound)
  • Use telephones, email, chat and text to communicate with customers
  • Provide clear verbal and written communications to assist customers with repayment of educational obligations
  • Properly utilize CRM system for technical inquiries with follow-up for customer resolution
  • Update records with current demographic and contact information and accurately notate all interactions
  • Follow policies and procedures regarding escalations and adhere to federal and state laws
  • Attain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and monthly performance goals
  • Complete training (first two weeks Monday–Friday 8am–5pm CST)

Requirements

  • High school or equivalent (Required)
  • 1 year experience
  • Access to reliable internet connection
  • Be passionate in the work you do and the people you help
  • Ability to establish and maintain rapport through effective communication and timely follow-up with customers
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to establish priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment
  • Must be a self-starter with a great degree of internal motivation
  • Ability to operate and navigate various technical devices and systems
  • Ability to trouble shoot common computer issues
  • Experience handling inbound and outbound customer calls and using CRM systems
  • Ability to use telephones, email, chat and text communication with customers
