Primary Function of Position: The Specialty Sales Manager plays a critical role in driving identification and adoption of new procedures for the da Vinci surgical system.
Roles & Responsibilities: The Manager will identify and develop Key Opinion Leaders to pioneer and expand use of the da Vinci system in surgical specialties; coach, counsel and train local sales reps; partner with sales leadership to expand specialty procedures utilization; develop KOLs for general, thoracic, colorectal and bariatric procedures; establish regional case observation sites; implement training and market development activities; manage hospital accounts; deliver hospital and practice executive presentations; develop future training pipeline; oversee regional training programs; elevate specialty sales proficiency; coordinate knowledge programs; manage key initiatives; align with leadership and marketing to manage surgeon training resources.
Qualifications: Demonstrated ability to manage complexity; effective communication; excellent clinical selling skills; track record of sales excellence; 1+ years of management experience; 5+ years of medical device sales; Thoracic/colorectal background preferred; Bachelor’s degree required; overnight travel 2-3 days/week (40-60%); etc.
