About the role
- Be a key member of the delivery team in integration and separation projects from start to finish, ensuring successful delivery within budget and timeline.
- Drive numerous workstreams on projects, taking ownership of each phase of the process (discovery, design, plan, execution) leading interactions with clients in respective workstreams, and manage cross-functional teams involved in the integration and separation projects.
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may arise during projects and ensure that effective communication and stakeholder management is maintained throughout the projects.
- Conduct pre-deal diligence assessments to identify key synergy opportunities and develop integration plans, including day one readiness assessment
- Monitor and report on project progress, providing regular updates to senior management.
- Manage all aspects of project administration, including project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and communication
- Manage and train junior team members to upskill them and build their experience
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in managing integration and separation projects, preferably in a consulting or advisory role.
- Strong knowledge of M&A processes, integration and separation methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills.
- Demonstrates consistent desire to expand the thinking and take ownership of tasks from start to finish.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain. relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- High level of professionalism and integrity.
- Flexibility to travel as required.
