About the role
- Drive overall Production and Entertainment strategy for Independent Contractor Group, including analyzing the market and building growth plans (including offshore)
- Measure growth of the program and deliver highest quality advisor support with a knowledgeable support team
- Manage a team of managers and directors who manage a portfolio of advisors and assist with triage, growth, and account management
- Responsible for advisor growth, engagement, and retention
- Oversee regional and local managers and their staff; establish expectations for leadership team
- Direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and service programs
- Monitor customer preferences to determine recruiting focus and partner with head of advisor recruiting
- Establish world class technology platform in conjunction with IT
- Advise dealers and distributors on policies and operating procedures
- Represent company at trade association meetings to promote products
- Build Entertainment segment growth plans and partner with Supplier Partner groups on preferred programs (air, car, limo, hotel, private jet, etc.)
- Develop advisor communities, build center of expertise in Entertainment, and provide tools/resources for advisors
- Establish annual net promoter score and build strategic plan for advisor events and recognition
- Schedule and conduct monthly GTC meetings and partner with Learning & Development on development needs
- Strategize on cost to serve model, oversee renegotiation of advisor contracts, and own new advisor compensation model execution
- Improve adoption of preferred suppliers and leverage advisor base for ROI and investment from partners
- Ensure account management teams partner across the business to provide individual business growth plans and build advisor consulting cadence of account reviews
Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in a Travel Agency capacity in an IC environment preferred
- Knowledgeable and experienced with financial reporting, forecasting & modeling exercises
- Workforce optimization experience
- Able to forecast benefits & deliver value when investing in incremental resources and/or technologies
- Demonstrated strategic planning, analytical and problem solving skills utilizing creativity and innovation
- Demonstrated leadership and vision in managing large staff groups, major projects, and initiatives
- Ability to interact across all levels of the organization with excellent interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Proven leadership skills including managing through change, integrations, etc.
- Passion and proven track record for meeting and exceeding budget requirements and objectives, team building and cross functional management cooperation
- Ability to travel internationally up to 50% of the time
