💰 $70,000 - $72,000 per year

About the role

  • Meet or exceed yearly fundraising goals for the IRC in Kansas.
  • Develop annual fundraising plans with specific and measurable goals and objectives.
  • Implement multi-office strategies linked to fundraising plans.
  • Oversee preparation of letters of inquiry, proposals, budgets, and reports to funders.
  • Identify, cultivate, and sustain individual donors through various means.
  • Ensure the Development team works effectively to meet cash and in-kind matching requirements.
  • Oversee annual fundraisers, donor appeals, and special events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; graduate degree in Development, Nonprofit Management, Business Management, International Relations, or a related field a plus.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of nonprofit experience in fundraising, grant writing, public relations, or volunteer coordination.
  • Prior supervisory or people management experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven success in donor and foundation relations, including securing funded grant proposals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and online research tools.
  • Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Experience working effectively in multicultural environments.
