Responsibility for analyzing incoming project ideas — from researching Technology Readiness Levels (TRLs), market barriers and intellectual property to assessing framework conditions — including continuous communication with all stakeholders
Act as a link between research teams and founders, investors and spin-off experts, bridging academic excellence and the startup scene
Help shape and provide operational support for our SPRIND Challenges — from the initial idea through content and methodological design to implementation and further development, in close collaboration with the Challenge team
Prepare decision materials; aggregate and process large volumes of scientific data into compelling narratives for tech corporations, ministries and VCs
Support innovation managers, document tech trends, map global STEM investors and build an innovation database
Requirements
Successfully completed degree (Diploma, Master, PhD) in a STEM field or comparable expertise with initial practical experience in research projects, tech transfer or industry (patent analysis, TRL assessment) and experience working with databases
Basic interest in or understanding of VC logic and entrepreneurial intuition
Strong teamwork skills and systems thinking to act as a catalyst for constructive collaboration
Ability to translate complex science into language that is understandable for investors and decision-makers
