About the role

Own the end-to-end user experience for squad projects, from ideation to final delivery
Create, maintain, and evolve the organisation’s Design System to ensure consistency and scalability
Act as the primary UX representative in stakeholder meetings, align on goals and manage expectations
Clearly articulate design concepts, strategies, and justifications via presentations and storytelling
Mentor UX designers and foster a collaborative, inclusive, growth-oriented design culture
Collaborate with UX researchers on qualitative and quantitative research, usability testing, and stakeholder workshops
Work closely and early with Product Managers, Developers, Analysts, and Testers to ensure alignment between design, business objectives, and technical implementation
Champion accessibility and inclusive design principles to ensure WCAG-compliant, usable products
Analyse complex user and business challenges and design elegant, responsive solutions optimised for web and mobile

Extensive experience as a Senior UX Designer or readiness to step into a senior role with a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design process and outcomes
Hands-on experience creating, managing, and scaling design systems
Proven stakeholder management and ability to engage with and influence stakeholders at all levels
Exceptional verbal, visual, and written communication and presentation skills
Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams in an Agile or Lean UX environment
Proficiency in conducting user research, usability testing, and synthesising data to inform design decisions
Expertise in tools like Figma for wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG)
Problem-solving mindset and ability to analyse complex user and business challenges
