About the role

  • Own and execute manual and automated testing processes for a developer-first toolkit
  • Ensure quality and reliability of solutions built with React, Vue.js, and Microsoft Azure cloud services
  • Analyze business and technical requirements to develop effective test strategies
  • Conduct exploratory testing to identify edge cases, potential risks, and product weaknesses
  • Perform functional and integration testing for web applications and cloud-based services
  • Identify, document, and track defects; provide clear, actionable feedback to development teams
  • Work closely with developers and product managers to ensure high quality and testability
  • Contribute to release planning and execution with emphasis on product stability and user experience
  • Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
  • Continuously improve test practices and stay up to date with emerging QA methodologies

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer in commercial software development
  • Strong expertise in exploratory testing with a critical thinking mindset
  • Hands-on experience with test automation using Python, Java, JavaScript, or similar languages
  • Solid background in testing modern web applications (UI, API, and backend)
  • Proven experience working with Microsoft Azure (cloud services and testing in distributed environments)
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud-native deployment environments
  • Comfortable working independently as the primary QA representative on a cross-functional team
  • Strong ownership, accountability, and attention to detail
  • Experience in agile development environments focused on iterative delivery and continuous improvement
  • Passion for working on technically challenging and impactful products
  • Nice to have: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
  • Nice to have: Experience testing AI/ML-based products or systems
  • Nice to have: Familiarity with AI-powered testing tools or automation assistants
