Lead a global organization of over 1500 people responsible for planning, execution, delivery, and support of design enablement (FIP, PDK Dev/QA, Technology Modeling, DTCO/PPA, Test Chips, customer support)
Coordinate execution across the Design Technology Platform organization to ensure deliveries are on schedule and at high quality
Work closely with technology development teams to define new technologies that deliver optimal Power, Performance, Area, and Design Ease-of-Use
Collaborate with EDA partners to develop and deliver EDA tool and IP capabilities for customers
Partner with foundry services team to support new customer product designs and ensure platform meets customer requirements
Foster continuous improvement of development and validation practices for better customer outcomes
Drive improvements in automation and validation methodologies to improve PDK development efficiency and quality
Identify and promote key metrics and systems to monitor development, quality, and operational efficiency and act on findings
Respond quickly to customer requirements and feedback and ensure comprehensive root cause methodologies across teams
Promote a healthy and rewarding work environment, coach staff, set clear goals and vision, and resource teams to reach those goals
Requirements
PhD or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
20+ years of industry and leadership experience including direct experience in foundry, EDA, and design enablement
15+ years of experience managing multi-level and cross-site global engineering organizations
20+ years of demonstratable experience in design technology platform domains such as Technology Modeling, Process Test Chips, DTCO, PDK Dev/QA, FIP, and Customer Support
Deep working knowledge of how PDK and FIPs are used in product and IP designs and critical aspects of Power, Performance, Area tradeoffs
Experience aligning PDK, FIP, EDA reference flows, and other components as part of developing a technology platform
Combination of business acumen, organizational savvy, networking capabilities, and technical expertise to get results across multiple groups and disciplines
Demonstrated ability to understand and interpret industry trends, create and drive strategies, work independently, and manage diverse and extensive assignments
Proven experience in building a high-performance team, developing leaders, and driving necessary organizational change and culture
Ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of the organization and influence the direction of the company
Complex problem solving and decision-making skills with background in results orientation
Demonstrated knowledge of one or more root cause analysis methods
Excellent customer services mindset and skills
Strong self-initiative, persistence, and ability to deal with a high degree of ambiguity and task and deadline pressure
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Ability to synthesize abstract complex information into clear messages and create impactful presentations
Ability to interact and communicate effectively with the executive offices Intel-wide
