About the role
- Join Intel as a Commodity Manager and play a pivotal role in developing and executing sourcing strategies that drive supply chain excellence across Intel's global operations
- Develop and implement innovative commodity strategies that align supplier capabilities with Intel's business objectives and technology roadmaps
- Drive supplier development through collaboration and innovation to provide sustainable, high-quality, cost-effective solutions
- Maintain deep knowledge of industry dynamics and market trends to proactively address upcoming supply chain needs
- Negotiate contracts that ensure predictable cost, quality, availability, and technology solutions, while adhering to procurement policies
- Manage supplier relationships to align with Intel's goals, including risk mitigation, cost reduction, and supplier performance improvement
- Lead periodic reviews of commodity sourcing strategies, adjusting to market conditions and business needs to ensure continuity and competitive advantage
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including finance and legal, to address commercial and contractual issues with suppliers
- Support sustainability and regulatory compliance initiatives, ensuring supplier adherence to Intel's standards
- Conduct analyses and provide insights to support critical decision-making, negotiations, and cost optimization
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Art and Science, or a related field
- 4+ years of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related area
- Knowledge of Intel's global supply chain methodologies, systems, and capacity planning
- Familiarity with sourcing and inventory management tools and processes
- Proven expertise in supplier relationship management, financial analysis, contract negotiation, and risk mitigation strategies
- Strong proficiency in data analysis and market intelligence to support strategic sourcing decisions
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to address supply chain challenges and optimize solutions
