About the role

  • Join Altera as a Sales Account Manager managing sales budget targets
  • Grow existing business within assigned accounts and uncover new business
  • Drive all sales activities including demand creation, opportunity development, forecasting
  • Manage issue resolution through collaboration with marketing, operations, applications engineering, and other supporting roles

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technology field.
  • 5+ years experience in technical sales
  • Experience with FPGA/SoC or ASIC design
  • Experience with programmable logic or other specialized compute engines (microprocessors, GPU, CPU, etc.)
  • Experience working with major tech distributor(s) (e.g. Arrow Electronics, Macnica)
  • Experience working with tech design firm(s)
  • Experience navigating and maintaining a CRM tool like Salesforce
