Accounting Manager

• Responsible for importing and processing of payment files, claim processing, collection of insurance, and/or physician charge entry
• Executes the auditing, denial appeals process, which includes receiving, assessing, documenting, tracking, responding to, and/or resolving appeals with third-party and government payers in a timely manner.
• Monitors payer files for accuracy, ensures payer documentation is completed and assist in updating files with pertinent information as necessary.
• Conducts relevant research to assist with resolving files or claims and to stay informed on best practices and policy reforms.

Senior Patient Accounting Specialist – Days

Infrastructure Engineer

• Serves as an escalation point for Tier 2 Operations team members, working tickets and creating or modifying knowledge base articles.
• Installs and configures systems according to design specifications.
• Assists with analysis, troubleshooting, repairing and performance tuning of complex systems and hardware components.
• Supports the ITIL Service Transition process ensuring new and modified services are appropriately documented and Operations personnel (Service Desk and L2 Operations) are informed and trained.
• Supports testing and evaluation of technologies under review.
• Plans, documents, and implements software patches and upgrades for infrastructure components.
• Actively monitors the environment and appropriately assigns problem tickets, incidents, and schedules reviews to determine support needs for existing and new systems.

• Lead high-level charge capture initiatives, payer strategy escalations, and systemwide denial prevention efforts.
• Mentor junior analysts, partners with cross-functional leaders, and drive enterprise-wide initiatives that ensure accurate billing, regulatory compliance, and optimized net revenue performance.
• Leads investigations of systemic billing edits, high-dollar revenue discrepancies, and specialty-specific coding risks; develops recommendations for long-term corrective action.
• Designs and oversees charge capture improvement projects across multiple service lines; ensures sustainable improvements to documentation, charging practices, and Epic workflows.
• Develops advanced dashboards and predictive analytics models to monitor denial trends, charge lag, missed charges, and net revenue opportunities; provides actionable insights to senior leadership.
• Performs complex cost-benefit analyses to evaluate the financial impact of revenue improvement proposals, payer policy changes, and operational redesigns.
• Leads payer and internal audits, ensuring thorough documentation, effective responses, and sustainable corrective actions; supports escalations of payment policy or denial issues to senior payer relations leadership.
• Collaborates with Compliance, Legal, and CDM teams to establish governance structures, implement billing corrections, and ensure adherence to corporate initiatives and regulatory requirements.
• Serves as the senior analyst for multiple high-volume or high-risk service lines; acts as a system resource on complex reimbursement and compliance challenges.
• Leads quarterly and ad-hoc reviews with operational executives to present findings and recommendations; mentors Analysts I and II, providing technical guidance, coaching, and quality assurance for their work.

• Analyzes relevant clinical and demographic information from the Health Information record
• Assigns appropriate ICD-10 codes following appropriate guidelines
• Completes analysis of documentation, abstracting and code assignment by body system, organ, etiology and morphology according to the American Hospital Association Official ICD-10 Coding Guidelines
