About the role
- Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive behavioral health respite program that supports youth with behavioral health needs and their caregivers.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of respite services, including program design, service delivery models, policies, and procedures.
- Work with regional directors and county managers to establish individual, team, and departmental goals, incorporating performance metrics that align with the organization's strategic plan, supporting its mission and values.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with behavioral health providers, healthcare systems, community organizations, and advocacy groups to ensure coordinated and accessible respite services.
- Monitor program outcomes, utilization, and quality metrics to evaluate effectiveness and identify opportunities for enhancement.
- Ensure compliance with ISBH standards, state and federal regulations, licensing requirements, and contractual obligations related to behavioral health and respite services.
- Oversee the financial performance of the respite programming to ensure sustainability and fiscal responsibility.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to address service gaps and expand respite options based on emerging needs and best practices.

Requirements
- Bachelors degree in healthcare administration, social work, behavioral health, business, management, or related field
- Masters degree preferred
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in program management, behavioral health services, respite care, or related human services field
- Demonstrated experience leading programs, initiatives, or teams within a healthcare or behavioral health setting
- Strong knowledge of behavioral health systems, caregiver support needs, and community-based services
- Commitment to a diverse, inclusive, and respectful workplace required
- Able to effectively communicate through verbal/written expression
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines within a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Experience working within Electronic Health Record systems.
- Must be able to operate in an Internet-based, automated office environment.
