About the role

  • Manage a team of 7 to 9 Account Managers that own the overall relationship with assigned clients.
  • Increasing adoption, ensuring retention, and satisfaction of clients.
  • Coach Account Managers on how to establish a trusted/strategic advisor relationship with each assigned client.
  • Help in managing the entire sales lifecycle of transactions to ensure visibility into and predictability of the lead-to-close process.
  • Ensure positive relationships with all employees, customers, partners, and shareholders.
  • Meet and exceed team upsell opportunities.
  • Work with clients to establish critical goals and aid the customer in achieving their goals.
  • Provide guidance on timely resolution of escalated sales-related issues.
  • Communicate with key customers, business partners and executives on significant issues and accomplishments.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of account management experience in software industry.
  • 3+ years management experience in software industry.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to achieve set goals and deadlines.
  • Natural leadership skills, and ability to mobilize people towards a goal.
  • Ability to pick up new technologies easily.
  • Good understanding of Excel, financial modeling, and financial reporting.
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
  • Prior experience in closing sales deals at the executive level a plus.
  • Knowledge of the private equity and financial services market preferred.
