About the role

  • Participate in the design and application design around an event-oriented architecture
  • Help testers in setting up component and integration tests
  • Participate in the development and evolution of back-end components for the execution of algorithms
  • Participate in the technological watch and definition of development standards to ensure system efficiency, resilience and sustainability
  • Optimize the platform for maximum velocity and scalability
  • Optimize and prioritize development tasks in collaboration with the team
  • Ensure the high level of quality of the work delivered
  • Strengthen the development team productivity
  • Oversee the development of appropriate tactics to achieve objectives
  • Support and be proactively involved in problem situations or issues
  • Play a Technical Leader / Mentor role for Squad members

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or any combination of equivalent education and experience
  • Minimum of 8 years of significant experience in development
  • A very good understanding of machine learning and artificial intelligence
  • Well documented and ability to make complex concepts easy to understand
  • Bilingualism is required for candidates located in Quebec considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues
