About the role
- Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, including client agreements, NDAs, BAAs, DPAs, and vendor contracts
- Draft, review, and update the company's Terms of Service, Data Processing Policies, and Privacy Policies to ensure compliance
- Provide legal advice on data protection and privacy issues, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Assist in developing and implementing internal policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance across all business operations
- Advise on intellectual property matters, including trademarks and copyrights
- Handle legal aspects of international client dealings, ensuring compliance with relevant international laws and regulations
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact the company and its clients
- Support the HR department in company-related matters
- Collaborate with external legal counsel as necessary for specialized legal matters
- Provide training and guidance to employees on legal issues and compliance matters
- Conduct legal research and oversee all general legal operations
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of in-house legal experience, ideally within the IT sector
- Proficiency in English
- Proven experience in drafting and reviewing legal documents
- Familiarity with international regulatory frameworks and compliance practices
- Good understanding of data protection regulations, IP laws and other technology-related regulations
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively across teams
- Proactiveness, problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- Strong multitasking abilities with excellent oral and written communication skills
- Bonus: Master’s degree in Law (LL.M. or equivalent)
- Bonus: Knowledge of emerging AI regulations and their implications for SaaS/IT
