About the role

Join a nimble legal team supporting Pinterest's Global Content Organization and creators
Draft, review and negotiate content licensing, development, production, and other media-related agreements with creators, agencies, and partners
Provide strategic advice and support for creators and content teams
Partner with engineering, product management, communications, and legal teams to identify and manage legal issues and risks across product and partnership lifecycles
Embed with cross-functional teams to monitor updates and advise on legal implications as products or partnerships evolve
Provide pragmatic, strategic advice to cross-functional leaders to minimize legal risk while advancing business goals

Juris Doctor degree with a minimum of 5 years negotiating content and media agreements, including at least 1 year in-house
Admission to a state bar
Experience counseling content teams at technology platforms
Understanding of media, endorsement, intellectual property and right of publicity laws and regulations
Understanding of consumer protection and e-commerce law preferred
Experience with developing creative business-oriented solutions in a fast-paced environment and under tight deadlines
Experience as a trusted partner for clients, identifying, prioritizing and resolving issues quickly and independently
Eagerness to learn with a strong desire to embrace an entrepreneurial, flexible, and collaborative working style
Exceptional judgment and impeccable integrity with excellent communication skills
