• Independently manage assigned accounts receivable, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution
• Perform demographic and charge entry with high accuracy and minimal supervision
• Prepare, submit, and monitor insurance claims through clearinghouses and payer portals
• Conduct in-depth AR follow-up with insurance companies to secure payment
• Analyze, resolve, and appeal complex claim denials and rejections
• Correct claims, resubmit as needed, and document all actions clearly and thoroughly
• Identify recurring denial patterns or payer issues and flag them for escalation
• Maintain accurate AR notes, trackers, and status updates
• Collaborate with the billing team to reduce Days in AR (DAR) and improve cash flow
• Support audits, reconciliations, and special billing projects as needed
