About the role
- A hands-on field-based role to repair our parcel lockers on client’s sites
- Diagnosing and repairing faults and malfunctions of parcel locker machines (APMs)
- Maintenance and modernisation of parcel locker machines
- Implementing hardware and software upgrades to enhance reliability and efficiency
- Processing and reporting on assigned repairs
- Quality control of work performed by internal employees and subcontractors
- Providing technical and substantive support to employees and subcontractors
- Participating in the development of solutions for new types of parcel locker machines
- Preparing and updating technical manuals and documentation
Requirements
- Similar experience in a Field service technical engineering role on electrical/mechanical equipment
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and diagnostic tools (multi-meter)
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing equipment
- Experience in software configuration and firmware updates
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for resolving complex technical issues
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to provide technical training
- Ability to manage tasks efficiently
- High accuracy in quality control and documentation updates
- Experience working with diverse teams, including international subcontractors and internal staff
- Familiarity with parcel locker or similar systems and organisational IT tools
- Effective time management and responsible handling of tools and components.
