About the role
- Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage reservations
- Collect and process payments and invoices
- Obtain medical histories and ensure vaccines/tests are up to date
- Communicate with veterinarians and veterinary technicians about patient needs
- Assist with prescription refills, food orders, and over-the-counter product requests
- Accurately update and maintain client and patient records
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Customer service or receptionist experience preferred (veterinary or medical office experience a plus
- Strong multitasking and communication skills
- Weekend availability required
- Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs
- A passion for animals and commitment to exceptional client care
