About the role

  • Identify and evaluate potential markets and sales opportunities
  • Develop and execute against an annual sales budget, providing monthly updates to sales leadership to track progress
  • Initiating and follow - up on leads to drive new business
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other channels
  • Use a consultative approach to determine customer requirements and recommend solutions
  • Capture detailed customer needs and specifications for accurate solution alignment
  • Serve as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams during order processing
  • Conduct follow-up to assess customer satisfaction and gather feedback
  • Document customer suggestions and share insights with the Product Management team
  • Attend industry conferences and conduct on-site customer visits as needed

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years direct sales or sales related experience
  • Experience working in or with the salmon id aquaculture industry
  • Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines in a competent and timely manner
  • Excellent communication skills (Verbal and written)
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Experience and expertise using the MS Office suite of tools
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Specific experience with aquaculture technology including environmental monitoring equipment (preferred)
  • Experience with salesforce or other CRM tool (preferred)
  • Bachelor degree in aquaculture, marine science or related field.
