About the role
- Identify and evaluate potential markets and sales opportunities
- Develop and execute against an annual sales budget, providing monthly updates to sales leadership to track progress
- Initiating and follow - up on leads to drive new business
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other channels
- Use a consultative approach to determine customer requirements and recommend solutions
- Capture detailed customer needs and specifications for accurate solution alignment
- Serve as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams during order processing
- Conduct follow-up to assess customer satisfaction and gather feedback
- Document customer suggestions and share insights with the Product Management team
- Attend industry conferences and conduct on-site customer visits as needed
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years direct sales or sales related experience
- Experience working in or with the salmon id aquaculture industry
- Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines in a competent and timely manner
- Excellent communication skills (Verbal and written)
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Experience and expertise using the MS Office suite of tools
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- Specific experience with aquaculture technology including environmental monitoring equipment (preferred)
- Experience with salesforce or other CRM tool (preferred)
- Bachelor degree in aquaculture, marine science or related field.
